One-ring Weaver's Scissor

The one-ring weaver’s scissors is also known as a ring finger scissors and has its origin in weaving loom work. Its design is unique: It only has one eye, through which the ring finger is placed, while the small scissors rests open in the palm of the hand or is turned on to the back of the hand. The fingers are therefore free to work – but as soon as a thread in need of cutting appears, the scissors is “at your fingertips” in an instant and ready to work. The terms cutting scissors or thread trimmer are also common.
It is perfect for sewing jobs with frequent change of thread and to trim seams and hems.
