Those who like to cook can’t do without poultry shears. The shears enable perfect preparation when raw, and subsequent carving of the roast chicken, turkey, duck or goose.
Poultry shears are especially long and the movement of the blades is usually supported by a recoil spring – the transfer of force is thereby particularly efficient and the poultry can be carved with minimum effort. The blades are serrated to prevent the cutting goods from slipping during cutting. Some shears have a small groove in the blade, to securely hold the poultry bone in place while cutting. Some handles are designed with surface contours, to prevent the shears from slipping when hands are wet or greasy. The shears feature a safety closure to lock them for storage.
