The grinding

The purpose of a scissor, its quality, its sharpness – is all determined in the grinding. For each individual intended use, we offer you a special grinding procedure – and sometimes even several. Poultry shears, for example, have a serrated grind, some kitchen and technical scissors are provided with our micro serration, which holds the material to be cut in the correct position.
For this reason, grinding is an extremely complex production step. We grind most scissors by hand on traditional precision grinding machines – great skill and experience is required to produce an original PAUL scissor.
